castle Deep Space Sparkle - I have used and love this site! I have had my class create these castles in Art. The site gives excellent directions, illustrations and comments from others which is very helpful. My students have created these castles, and they are now hanging in the hallway of our school. They're very impressive! This site is a breath of fresh air to what was becoming a dull Art class.
Family Tree Story Line This lesson plan used Photo Story 3 to create a timeline of a family's lineage. I found this to be very useful since I have my 4th graders do a nationality project each year. Each year I try to add something a little different to the project. Last year we used the program Museumbox, but this year I am thinking that a family tree might be a nice change.
I found this lesson on SMART EXCHANGE. I like how it teaches and reviews with the students but also gives them a chance to interact. The students really enjoyed the graphics and were very attentive while we went through the lesson.
This lesson gives the students a chance to review the 13 colonies by placing the names of the colonies by their map location. I plan to use this in 5th grade this year when we are covering the 13 colonies.
